There are many, many resources on the net for just about everything...including HTML coding. I will list a few of them here for you to check out. One of the things I have done with my own pages is use them for bookmarks for alot of these resources. So....here I will list alot of my pages that you can go to, to find items about a particular interest.

NOTE: Please be very careful when downloading anything off the net. Virus' are out there and can do alot of damage to your systems. I try to just keep the sites I have checked out here, but just because I have never had a problem with them does NOT guarantee you won't.

Search Engines

• Here is my Search Engine page with links to various search engines and Yellow Pages. My favorite so far is Dog Pile, they search other search engines and FTP sites to give you alot of places to choose from.

Shareware and Freeware Links

• Download.com -thousands of the best programs on the Internet, with detailed descriptions, list of requirements, multiple download links, hundreds of demos of retail products, and everything is for FREE! Companion to Shareware.com.

• Filez -will search thousands of servers and more than 60 million entries to hunt for what you want. Need a .dll file, shareware game, or a utility, check here first. You can even add the Filez search form to your own Web page.

• Jumbo is a good site to find alot of free software and graphics.

• Soft Seek -shareware, freeware and evaluation software. Check out: New Releases, Top Downloads and the Editor's Picks...plus categories that include: Business, Desktop, Education, Games, Graphics, Home, Internet, Programming and Utilities.

• Shareware.com where you can get alot of great software for free. Most is shareware or freeware, and alot is good, but watch out for "demos" and things that will expire and not let you use it any more.

• Simtel.Net -Shareware, Freeware and Public Domain programs for business, kids, whatever!

• The Virtual Shareware Library offers 90,000 programs and is an excellent utilities resource for all operating systems.

Music

• General MIDI Files -an alphabetical list of kids of music and authors to click on and then be taken to another page with songs listed. Many, many songs are listed here.

• Jukebox -lots of songs (MIDI files) to listen to and download.

• Standard MIDI files on the net -links to sites that offer midi files for you to download and listen to.

• Music Directory -lots and lots of midi files to download here...plus some directories to find more music files. Directories include: Christmas, Beatles, Elvis, Jazz and more...

• The Lutheran Hymnal -contains midi (sound) files of many of the hymns in the Lutheran Church hymnal. Check out these collections too...Organ Hymns, Brass Hymns, Folk, Christmas, Country, Rock and more... Watch out for their strict copyright when using the midi files!

• MIDI Might -tons of MIDI, MOD, and WAV music files for anyone who loves music. Select your category...from Background Music to Who Knows...and download away.

• Nature Songs -free samples of various natural sounds from birds (singing, cherping...), insects (frogs, crickets...), and other natural sounds. All files are Windows WAV format. This guy has really put alot of work into these files and they sound great.

Graphics & Fonts

• The easiest way to do this one is to just send you to my Graphics page where I have alot of sites listed. Almost all of them offer FREE graphics for you to use on your personal pages. Might want to check out their individual restrictions before downloading.

• Guess what...another of my pages. This is much easier that putting all those links on this page too! :o] Font sites that I have found with tons of free fonts you can download and use. Remember...when you use a font on your page your visitor will only be able to view the page with the font you choose IF they have that font on their system. It is best to stay with fonts that come with windows so you know most will have it. Otherwise you will need to create a graphic using that font.

• Okay...so you have your page(s) up and running and now you want a counter, guestbook or maybe another email account. Here is a list, off another of my pages, for all kinds of this stuff....FREE Stuff! Each site offers different things, so check them out carefully. The one I particularly like is Bravenet, they offer alot of different services you can use.
