EDUCATION
Grade School	Alan attended Bowling Green City Schools, graduating in 1972.
College	Alan graduated from Bowling Green State University in only three years in 1975 with a B.S. in Education. He majored in Political Science and served on the Student Court. He was inducted into the Political Science Honorary.
Law School	Alan attended law school at Toledo where he participated in the Prosecutor's Clinic. In this clinic he prosecuted cases in the Bowling Green Municipal court. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1978.
Additional Education	Alan has over 500 hours of specialized Prosecutor Training including:    National College of District Attorneys    FBI Academy    Top Gun - Drug Prosecutor Training    Ohio State Bar Association College         (Recognition 10 years in a row.)    Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Assn. Training    National District Attorneys Assn. Training
