1980-1981:Referee in Bowling Green Municipal Court.
1980-1981:Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Wood County.
1978:Prosecutor - Intern Bowling Green Municipal Court.
Prosecuted over 2,000 Felonies including: Murders, Rapes, Robberies and Burglaries. Alan has prosecuted more murder cases than any Prosecutor in Wood County history with a 100 percent conviction rate in Homicide and Murder Trials.
Wrote the Ohio Manual of Criminal Complaints and Indictments.  This book is used by Police and Prosecutors all over Ohio.
Testified in House and Senate on bills on behalf of law-abiding citizens.
