WCNet is a project of the Wood County Internet Council (WCIC) which is an Ohio non-profit corporation made up of volunteers from throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The mission of WCIC is to bring simple and economical Internet access.

The Board of Trustees that govern WCNet meet regularly to establish policy and direction.
